MeRLIN Strategic Sourcing Solution has been listed in the 2022 Gartner® Market Guide

Maastricht, Netherlands, August 2022 , RheinBrücke Technology announced that their Strategic Sourcing Solution MeRLIN has been listed in the 2022 Gartner® Market Guide for E-Sourcing Applications.

According to Gartner “E-sourcing applications are critical for a procurement organization to vet new sources of supply, negotiate pricing and mitigate cost increases for strategic spend categories. Application leaders can use this research to understand the market landscape and dynamics before buying.”

According to Gartner, increased demand for procurement & supply chain solutions as well as analytics platform requirements will lead to spend exceeding $31.8 billion by 2025 in the SCM space. The annual spend on procurement software will increase to $12.2 billion by 2025 at a CAGR of 16% in constant currency terms (base 2020) due to new investments to improve negotiated savings, mitigate supplier risk, and the increased need to improve compliance & sustainability and visibility.**

According to PwC Digital Procurement Survey 200 Study 2022, 72% of the DACH manufacturing companies are expected to do Procurement Digitalization by 2025.

E-sourcing applications have registered a growth of nearly 15% (in current currency terms) over the year 2021. In our opinion, these numbers are proof that the many global factors affecting supply chains in recent years have made these digital solutions more critical than ever before to procurement organizations to help manage their spend and suppliers efficiently.
